Believe in Ukraine Film Program

Embark on a global journey of solidarity with the “Believe in Ukraine” event series, commencing on February 24, 2024, in Buffalo, New York, and spanning 40 cities worldwide. Join us in expressing unwavering support for the resilient Ukrainian people as we commemorate the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This program, created in collaboration with Ukrainian filmmaker Anastasiia Kiril, will feature a 30-40 minute short film program curated to bring more understanding and appreciation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian experience to the world via Ukrainian-centered storytelling.

All self-identifying Ukrainian filmmakers, regardless of their current residence or birthplace, are invited to submit their films for consideration at the Buffalo event and other participating cities and future screenings over the course of 2024. Submissions are accepted via FilmFreeway.
